Flour & Starch Bagging Applications

Flour and starch are fine, free-flowing powders that can generate dust and entrain air during packaging. After filling, internal product deaeration and bag-mouth air release are required to support dense downstream palletizing. If heat sealing is required downstream, powder on the inner side of the bag mouth must be removed to ensure the seal meets the required tightness.

Application Notes

Key Application Notes

  • Final route depends on powder flowability, dust level, air content and target capacity.
  • KBF-2060 is recommended for this flour and starch application.
  • Palletizing and pallet load covering can be integrated according to project requirements.
