Food & Feed Ingredients Bagging Applications
Food and feed additives cover a wide range of powders, granules, and powder/granule blends, often with different flowability, dust levels, and hygroscopic behavior. During packaging, fine additive materials can entrain air and generate dust. After filling, internal product deaeration and bag-mouth air release may be required to support dense downstream palletizing. If heat sealing is required downstream, powder on the inner side of the bag mouth must be removed to ensure the seal meets the required tightness.
