Premix Bagging Applications

Premix materials are typically multi-component blends containing powders and trace additives, which can segregate and generate dust. During packaging, the material can entrain air and generate dust. After filling, internal product deaeration and bag-mouth air release are required to support dense downstream palletizing. To ensure reliable heat sealing in the next step, powder on the inner side of the bag mouth must be removed so that the seal can meet the required tightness.

Application Notes

Key Application Notes

  • Final route depends on premix composition, powder ratio, flowability, dust level, air content and target capacity.
  • KBF-1030 may be considered when powder handling, filling stability, air release or bag shape control is important.
  • KAP-1040 may be evaluated for suitable premix materials when conventional automatic bagging is appropriate.
  • Palletizing and pallet load covering can be integrated according to project requirements.
